With the need to stay in an ever-evolving digital world and to embrace a younger digitally savvy audience, UBL were not showcasing themselves as the modern Islamic bank that they are due to a restrictive and uninspiring website. The challenge, to redesign UBL’s website into a continually evolving website whilst offering existing and new customers the ease of a modern digital banking experience.
UBL needed a professional, easy-to-edit and convertible website, that could showcase the realm of Islamic and Personal banking products and to guide the user through an easy customer journey from interest to enquiry. Through a discovery process of a stakeholder workshop, analysing competitors and looking at what simply works best, we developed best practice customer journeys through wireframes and UX design, which executed into a slick new space on Umbraco.
Allowing for a professional look and feel, the ease of being able to develop the website and convert customers, Umbraco allowed for UBL to showcase themselves as a modern Islamic bank that can drive customers to their site with the ability to measure the entire customer journey.
A digital savvy website that allows the delivery of effective and measurable campaigns that not only engages customers but emphasises that United Bank’s site isn’t stuck in the past and neither is their approach to banking.
