Cardiac Science is the manufacturer and global distributor of Powerheart® defibrillators – providing life-saving equipment and educational resources to healthcare professionals, emergency responders and the general public in over 100 countries.
The Challenge:
With the necessity for health awareness greater than ever before, the challenge was to increase the brand’s domain authority and search rankings, which would in turn increase unique visitors to the site and strengthen Cardiac Science’s online presence.
The Approach:
Although we created an international strategy for Cardiac Science’s array of websites, our main focus was on the UK site. We performed a technical SEO content audit, as well as ongoing keyword research. We also identified content gaps in the customer journey and produced competitor analyses, before creating fresh, regular content onsite.
Outcome:
SEO keyword activity resulted in a strong improvement in overall site visibility – particularly in the UK. We achieved:
· 37% increase in traffic YoY
· 45% rise in total unique organic visitors
· 44% increase in new site visitors – a combined result of new onsite content and improved rankings for generic keywords.
