Under the arches - Laura Moulden

Continuing our series of interviews with the team, we sit down with our Digital Content Strategist, Laura Moulden, to see what a day in the life looks like, and how the move to digital first is advantageous.

Tell me about your role here at Delineo

I’ve been here for over 3 years now and I head up the Content Team, so my primary role is to develop digital content strategies for clients that my team then go away and execute. I develop the strategies and oversee how it is then implemented.

What attracted you to Delineo?

It was probably the fact that delineo had such a good reputation as a creative agency and it had a great direction and plan for digital in the future.

What does a typical day consist of for you?

Panicking, predominantly. It always starts with coffee – there is a lot of communication with clients, meetings regarding the direction of content and the content itself, overseeing what the team are doing, briefing them with new content; it’s a lot of talking and planning.

How has the move to digital first changed your role?

It hasn’t entirely. It’s good because it puts what I do at the forefront of the agency. For me, it’s the agency moving more in my direction rather than me moving in theirs.

What digital aspect could you not live without in your personal life?

Probably the Roku app, it lets me catch up on shows I’ve missed, similar to apple TV. It connects to my phone so I can easily control what I want to watch.
