Yesterday, our Head of Search Phil Morgan spoke at the open evening for Salford University’s Search and Social Media Marketing Course at the University’s brand new building in Salford’s Media City.
Alex Fenton, the course leader from Salford University, invited Phil to give an industry overview of the search and social industry. The course is aimed at both individuals and businesses who are searching for more knowledge on search engine optimisation and social media campaign strategy.
Here at Delineo, we have a tradition of working closely with universities in the region; our social media manager Tom Mason has previously spoken at numerous University events and, as a company, we host a number of work placement and graduate opportunities.
Speaking about the event, Phil commented:
“I really enjoyed speaking last night and it was great meeting more new people with a passion for search and social media marketing. I was very impressed with the overview of the course, the content looks very much in-line with what happens in the industry and I am sure that the skills gained from the course will give all delegates an edge in their future search and social media endeavours.
“Our social media manager Tom and I are both looking forward to sharing more of our knowledge on the 25th October when we will speaking about advanced tools and techniques for both SEO and Social Media.”
