#LoveThisPlace named Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year!

Last Friday, we joined Co-op Insurance at the PR and Marketing Awards for Insurance to celebrate some of the brilliant campaigns we’ve worked together on over the past 11 months.

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that not only did our #LoveThisPlace campaign take home the trophy for Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year, but Co-op Insurance was also named Social Media Influencer of the Year!

As a digital marketing agency, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with Co-op Insurance on such diverse and exciting social media campaigns, from initially devising their social media strategy to building an interactive online portal and filming a variety of videos.

#LoveThisPlace

One of the first big social media campaigns we created for Co-op Insurance, #LoveThisPlace was all about showcasing why we love where we live. Fully embodying the Co-op community ethos, the campaign required a number of executions, utilising every aspect of our full service digital marketing agency.

First, we took to the streets to film residents up and down the country, asking them what they love most about the place they call home. After turning the footage into a series of inspiring and moving videos, we then seeded the content across Co-op Insurance’s social media channels, spiking a wave of engagement.

We then asked the Co-op Insurance community to show us why they love where they live by uploading a photo of their home to our #LoveThisPlace online portal. Once uploaded, the images were added to our UK mosaic, showcasing all the wonderful places to live across the country.

Social Media Influencer of the Year

Over the past year, we’ve created a number of strategic social media campaigns for Co-op Insurance, including #LoveThisPlace, #UnboxingMemories and #BagsMore. Despite all the campaigns producing a wide variety of content and centring on several themes, each was designed to encapsulate the Co-op brand and reflect their community values throughout.

We were also tasked with initially constructing Co-op Insurance’s social media and content strategy, utilising the expertise of our Senior Planner and internal strategists. Almost a year on, there has been a significant uplift in engagement across Co-op Insurance’s social media platforms.
